Courage and Confidence. These words were first spoken over 200 years ago by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, foundress of the Society of the Sacred Heart. Here at Newton Country Day, we focus on the same core values that are reflected in Sacred Heart schools around the world. Highly motivated students and faculty of all faiths create a vibrant community distinguished by vigorous intellect, active compassion, and joyful traditions.

Despite the unseasonably warm weather, it feels like autumn around campus. New students have been inducted into either the Blue or Silver school spirit teams; fall sports teams of all levels are representing the school with pride and determination; and rehearsals of the Upper School production of the musical Little Women are well underway. The finishing touches to our new engineering lab have been completed, and students are busy exploring and discovering in this creative space.

To discover what Newton Country Day has to offer, I suggest you begin by exploring our website. You can schedule a tour and interview by calling the Admission Office at 617-244-4246, and our Open House takes place on Sunday, November 5 from 1-3 p.m. Please check the admission calendar for other upcoming events.

I wish you and your family courage and confidence as you navigate the school application process.
