Frequently asked questions about giving to Newton Country Day
The Annual Fund is the financial resource that bridges the gap between tuition revenues and operating expenses. Gifts to the Annual Fund directly benefit current students by supporting financial aid; faculty salaries; professional development; and the academic, athletic, and extracurricular programs that are the hallmark of a Newton education.
The 2011 – 2012 Annual Fund goal is $1.25 Million.
Every gift counts! Gifts made to Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart by alumnae and parents in any amount will help increase participation. Your support will ensure that the school continues to preserve the past, invest in the future, and provide an outstanding Sacred Heart education for today’s students and generations to come.
Annual giving supports Newton’s operating budget for the current year. It is an investment in an existing program. Capital gifts are investments in the future. Similarly, donors tend to make Annual Fund gifts from their income and Capital gifts, which are often larger, from their assets. Both are equally important to the financial well-being of the school.
Annual Fund gifts are due by June 30, which is the fiscal year-end for the school.
