| Ti Barros '07 Sings at Fenway Park | | |
On a beautiful afternoon on Sunday, April 15th Titciana “Ti” Barros ’07 walked onto the field at Fenway Park to sing “God Bless America” for the Seventh Inning Stretch in a game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Barros, who was a member of the Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart Gospel Choir and the select singing group the PSALMS, graduated from Boston College in 2011. She currently is a math teacher at Roxbury Preparatory Charter School. Standing on the field near the Red Sox dugout and flanked by the home team players, Barros smiled when she was introduced as a Jackie Robinson Foundation alumni to the more than 38,000 in attendance, then pitched her “God Bless America” to a standing ovation.
