Network Summer Service Projects

The Sacred Heart Network Summer Service Projects, now in their 27th year, offer students a wonderful experience to live out Goal Three. Students have an opportunity to give, serve, and learn firsthand about various issues of injustice and build community with other Sacred Heart students.
In addition to serving the poor and marginalized, it is hoped that students experience a personal transformation by living in a communal setting, practicing simple living, and maintaining a positive and open attitude. One of the great benefits of every service project is the opportunity to develop new friendships with students from across the country who come from a variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

All materials must be submitted in hard copy form to Ms. Theriault by January 18, 2017.

“The project made me feel like a part of our Sacred Heart Community. I left the project having grown from the experience, empowered and ready to advocate for the injustices I saw firsthand.”
