C. Capeci '19 Receives National Medal in the 2019 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Capeci’s work was considered one of the best from Massachusetts, and recognized out of over 340,000 submissions at the national level. A ceremony for all National Medalists will be held on June 6 at Carnegie Hall.
The Scholastic Art and Writing program is the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7-12. Students apply their work in 29 categories of art and writing. Submissions are reviewed by a panel of judges in the visual and literary arts. Panelists look for works that best exemplify originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
