Commended Students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program
Headmistress Sister Rogers and Head of Upper School Ms. Melissa Bleakney-Dalton announced that five members of the Class of 2023 were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
C. Bizup ’23, J. Chow ’23, E. Nero ’23, and D. Woolbert ’23 have been named Commended Students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, was presented to the students at Upper School assembly. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2023 competition by taking the 2021 PSAT.
In addition, S. He ’23 is one of 16,000 semifinalists for the National Merit Scholars Program for her outstanding performance. Semifinalists are the highest scoring entrants in each state.
