Admission Events

We are planning both in-person and virtual events this year. For events on campus, visitors should adhere to the same COVID-19 protocols that are required of our students, faculty, and staff. Please call the Admission Office at (617) 244-4246 if you have any questions or concerns.

Parent Coffees
Coffees for prospective parents will be held in the fall and early winter. At these informal gatherings, you can speak with administrators, faculty, current parents, students, and the admission team. Registration will be available through Ravenna.

Open Studio Session
Thursday, October 26 from 5-6 pm

Please join us for an evening of arts exploration. Watch the cast of Anastasia work through rehearsal. Engage with the process, then join the stars and arts faculty for a conversation about the production.

Open House
Sunday, November 5 from 1-3:30 pm

See the campus. Meet students, faculty, and administrators. Listen to student panels and explore opportunities in academics, arts, athletics, and community service. Pre-registration is requested through your
Ravenna account, but walk-ins are also welcome.

Joint Reception with St. Sebastian School
Wednesday, December 13 from 6:30-7:30 pm

Registration is now available on Ravenna for our annual joint admissions reception with St. Sebastian's School. This year's reception will be held at St. Sebastian's School (Martin Hall, Burke Family Center), 1191 Greendale Avenue, Needham. Come speak with current families and school administrators about the value of a Catholic independent school education. All are welcome.

Curriculum Night
Thursday, January 11 from 6:30-8 pm

Registration through Ravenna is now available for this in-person event for parents and caregivers, highlighting our curriculum and teaching philosophy. Please call the Admission Office if you have any questions. Snow date is January 17.

Get to Know Newton Workshops
Saturday, February 3 from 10:30 am - noon

For students applying to Grades 5, 6, or 7
Members of our Middle School Faculty will teach workshops in Engineering, Community Service, and Wellness/Baking to give your daughters a sense of what it’s like to be an NCDS student. More details about each workshop are available in the event descriptions on Ravenna.
