International Applicants
Residential Requirements Newton Country Day requires that students live with an immediate family member. We do not participate in any host family programs and do not allow students to live in independent dormitories. English Language Requirements Newton Country Day does not offer ESL support. Our curriculum is rigorous and reading/writing intensive. Successful applicants are fluent in all aspects of the English language. Student Visas Newton Country Day can provide I-20 forms to qualified students who have been accepted and have enrolled. Families must be able to document their financial resources, as required by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program of the United States. Interviews While we prefer that you visit the school for an in-person tour and interview, we understand that may not always be possible. We offer virtual interviews for families who are unable to visit our campus during the application process. Please contact the Admission Office to schedule your interview. Standardized Testing As international applicants are evaluated by the same metrics as other applicants, we require the same standardized tests. While we do not require TOEFL scores, we will consider them as part of the applicant’s file if they are submitted. |
