Faith in Family Scholarships

In addition to tuition assistance, Faith in Family Scholarships are specifically for new students applying to Grade 9 to help make a Newton Country Day School education affordable for mission-aligned families who may feel it is financially out of reach. To be considered for one of these scholarships, families must also submit an application for tuition assistance through Clarity by January 15.

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment and value to a faith community, a value for a Sacred Heart Catholic Education, and the potential to be a spiritual leader in the school community.

To apply for a Faith in Family Scholarship, students should submit an additional personal recommendation from someone who can address the applicant’s faith journey, such as a youth group leader, a faith formation or religion teacher, or a member of your place of worship. We also ask that the applicant submit one additional essay. Both the recommendation and the essay must be submitted by January 30 in order to be considered for one of these scholarships. Newton Country Day School accepts students of all faiths who are interested in an all-girls education founded in the Sacred Heart tradition. To apply for a Faith in Family Scholarship, we wish to know more about the applicant’s faith journey.
