Athletics
At Newton Country Day, interscholastic sports begin in Grade 5 with opportunities for students of all abilities, from beginner to recruited athlete. The Martin Center, our state-of-the-art athletic and wellness hub, has strengthened and expanded our already successful athletics program. NCDS is a member of the Eastern Independent League (EIL), New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), and has 38 teams in 14 sports. For specific team information, please select a sport from our team page.
Athletics are a meaningful and integral part of the experience at NCDS. We view athletics as an extension of the classroom where girls have the opportunity to compete at different levels while experiencing personal growth. Our coaching staff believes in our mission and teaching the whole child through athletics.
