At Newton Country Day, interscholastic sports begin in Grade 5 with opportunities for students of all abilities, from beginner to recruited athlete. The Martin Center, our state-of-the-art athletic and wellness hub, has strengthened and expanded our already successful athletics program. NCDS is a member of the Eastern Independent League (EIL), New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), and has 38 teams in 14 sports. Athletics are a meaningful and integral part of the experience at NCDS. We view athletics as an extension of the classroom where girls have the opportunity to compete at different levels while experiencing personal growth.
