The sand calms my nerves
I feel like all of the stress that I have blows away with the breeze
God, the beautiful scene that you have created
There is a warm glow as the sun shines from above
It shines with beauty and grace to heat the summer day
I know that you are with me, God, when I see the waves splash against the shore
Thank you for giving us the beautiful creatures that call the ocean their home
Each grain of sand could not represent the gratitude I possess
When I look out for miles and scan the horizon
I think of all the wonders that are before me
I also think of how they are all wonders of God
The seaweed that rests just above where the waves hit the shore
The fish that swim freely in the sea
The rocks that coat the ocean floor
The unique shells that lay hidden in the sand
All these features are created in your image, God
I am filled with joy, happiness, and thrill
There are so many emotions that can describe how wonderful I feel
On a warm summer day at the beach
God, your provide so much
The beach is just one of those glories in my life
