- What is the difference between Annual Fund and Capital gifts?
- When is my gift due?
- What forms of payment do you accept?
- May I donate securities?
- Will Newton accept matching gifts?
Annual giving supports Newton’s operating budget for the current year. It is an investment in an existing program. Capital gifts are investments in the future. Similarly, donors tend to make Annual Fund gifts from their income and Capital gifts, which are often larger, from their assets. Both are equally important to the financial well-being of the school.

Many companies match charitable contributions. Matching gifts can double or even triple the size of your gift. If you have a question about Matching Gifts, contact Cynthia Nelson, Director of Annual Giving, at (617) 559-4711. To find out if your employer has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources Department.
