NCDS Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15-October 15, Newton Country Day showcased the contributions of the Hispanic community in the form of presentations, displays, and art.

Homecoming 2021: September 24 & 25

Newton Country Day School hosts Homecoming on Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25. Families, alumnae, and friends are invited to cheer the Falcons to victory against Dana Hall School.

Newton Country Day Begins its 142nd Academic Year

Signs and cheers from the front driveway warmly welcomed students and their families on Wednesday, September 8 for the Opening Day of the 2020-21 school year. Excitement filled the air as students reunited with friends, met their classmates and teachers, and explored classrooms ahead of their first day of classes on September 9. This year, the community will focus on Sacred Heart Goal IV: the building of community as a Christian value.

The Class of 2021 Graduates

Newton Country Day’s 141st Graduation Ceremony was held in the Sunken Garden on Thursday, June 3. The families of the 64 graduates of the Class of 2021 gathered under the tent to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the senior class.

Spring Athletics Wrap Up

This spring, Newton Country Day Middle and Upper School athletes, in addition to participating in sport-specific skills and fitness-based practices, scrimmaged against Eastern Independent League schools.
