Newton Country Day’s Middle and Upper School winter athletic teams celebrated the conclusion of their seasons with assemblies to recognize girls for their achievements.
For eight Saturdays in January and February, members of the NCDS Classics Committee volunteered their mornings to lead a series of classes on Greek mythology. Each class was designed by the students to be an engaging, relevant, and inclusive introduction for elementary school students to the world of the ancient Greeks.
On Wednesday, March 4, Newton Country Day held the 25th Annual Science and Engineering Fair. Girls in Grades 7 and 8, and Upper School students participating in Independent Research and the newly launched Design and Engineering class, presented their projects to over 70 judges.
