Grade 8 Performs Hope for Peace

On Thursday, January 16, Grade 8 girls presented the live art installation Hope for Peace in the Martin Center. Dancing in 15 small groups, each girl was asked to reflect on an area of the world where its inhabitants are in need.

Partners in Health Co-Founder Visits Upper School

On Thursday, January 9, Partners In Health co-founder Ophelia Dahl spoke to girls in Grades 11 and 12 about her childhood, time spent in Haiti, her portrayal in Tracy Kidder’s Mountains Beyond Mountains, and Partners In Health.

English Class Puts Frankenstein on Trial

Room 232 was transformed into a courtroom, complete with a jury of faculty and Mr. Szilvasy in full court dress as the judge, for the trial of Frankenstein’s monster, the creature created by Victor Frankenstein in Mary Shelley’s classic novel.
